At Macaroni KID Schaumburg, we love celebrating local organizations that uplift our kids and strengthen our community. This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Cardio Kidz, a local nonprofit that’s helping children ages 2-14 of all abilities grow stronger - physically, socially, and emotionally - through movement, mentorship, and meaningful connection.

💪 Who They Are
Founded with a heart for inclusion and empowerment, Cardio Kidz creates athletic experiences that go far beyond the finish line. Their mission is to support the physical, social, and emotional growth of children in a positive, community-focused athletic environment. Whether your child is a seasoned runner or just starting out, Cardio Kidz welcomes them with open arms and encouraging words.
🏃♀️ What They Do
Cardio Kidz offers a seasonal 3-week running series in spring, summer, and fall, along with strength and conditioning sessions in partnership with local fitness gyms. But it’s not just about fitness - it’s about goal setting, affirmations, and building self-confidence. Every session is designed to help kids leave feeling proud, accomplished, and more confident in their abilities.
